Description
The Brandenburg series 567 is a range of miniature power supply modules, designed to operate from a dc supply of 2 to 12V. Their low ripple characteristics make them suitable for Photomultiplier Tube and similar applications. Further reduction in ripple may be achieved by adding an external filter capacitor. An input filter circuit guards against feedback of ripple into the supply. High efficiency, high frequency power conversion is used, the high voltage transformer being wound on a ferrite pot core. This minimises external magnetic fields and makes the modules suitable for incorporating into densely packed electronic assemblies. The output voltage varies in proportion to the input voltage over the input range of 2 to 12V. All models in the range are capable of delivering 1.5 Watts of output power at their full output voltage settings. Full encapsulation is used to give complete protection against humidity and a wide operating temperature range. Two alternative pin layouts are offered, conforming to industry standards.
