Description

This series of high power modules has been specially designed for distributed power systems where multiple PM tube arrays are being used. There are both line powered and DC to DC versions available with a positive or negative high voltage output. The use of high-stability components in the feedback system ensures a low temperature coefficient and good long and short term drift. The supplies are coated against the effects of excess humidity and mechanical stress and are housed within a metal enclosure providing excellent screening.

The output voltage may be controlled from less than 20V up to maximum output by either an external control voltage or a user accessible potentiometer. Also provided is a precision reference output for applications where an external potentiometer would be preferable. Pre-scaled buffered monitor outputs are provided for both output current and voltage monitoring. Active voltage clamp and current limit are also provided (adjusted via front panel potentiometers) to ensure against accidental damage to PM tubes through excessive voltage.
